“I've been a loyal dealership customer my entire life, but my neighbor recommended Duxler, so I decided to give them a try. I didn't know that their mechanics were ASE Certified and thought that even though you pay more at the dealership, their mechanics work on cars exactly like yours every day, all day and know them inside and out.
The car I needed to do some work on is a Chevrolet Malibu and the closest Chevrolet dealership is quite far away from where I live. I arrived at Duxler early in the day and told them to look the car over and let me know what it needs. They drove me home and about one hour later they called with the result of their evaluation and the price of all the parts and labor for each job. I had actually thought the car needed a part, Duxler told me that the part was fine and did not need to be replaced.
Later that same day, they called and told me the work had been completed and offered to pick me up. When I arrived the car was ready, the paperwork was copiously noted and all work was completed and the total was exactly the amount we had discussed, no surprises. When my 18 year old son was getting ready to drive across the country to college, we brought his car in to for an "all-out checkup and tune up" before his trip. When we dropped off the car, nervous mom and her son explained the purpose of the tune-up to the manager. When the car was ready to be picked up, the manager requested that my son be available to pick up the car himself, and that we leave a little extra time.
