Tires
Whatever your tire needs, Duxler carries the best brands to fit your car, SUV, or light truck. We feature all-weather, high performance, all-terrain, and touring tires. Choosing the right tire is crucial for your driving safety and comfort. If you are not sure what you need, Duxler's expert service advisors will help you select the best tires to fit your vehicle and driving needs, and install them with extreme precision.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (T.P.M.S.)
A Tire Pressure Monitoring System (T.P.M.S.) is an electronic system designed to monitor the air pressure inside the tires on automobiles. T.P.M.S. equipment reports real-time tire pressure information to the driver of the vehicle— by a gauge, a picture display, or a simple low-pressure warning light in the vehicle's instrument panel.
TPMS equipment alerts the driver when tire pressure is low. The system can be indirect (part of the anti-lock brake system) or direct (provides separate sensors/transmitters for each tire).
Servicing tire and wheel assembly with direct TPMS equipment requires special care and expertise. The highly skilled technicians at Duxler Complete Auto Care have the knowledge and experience to maintain and service your vehicle's TPMS system to ensure the safety of you and your family.
NOTE: Some TPMS systems require dealer service.
Tire Rotation & Balancing

Freddie V., at Duxler since 2002
Wheel balancing is an excellent preventative measure that can eliminate one of the principal causes of tire wear. You will become aware that your car is in need of balancing if you notice an annoying vibration on smooth roads, or if you notice a "shimmy" when you are driving at high speeds. Correct balancing requires expertise and proper equipment, and you can trust the expert technicians at Duxler to get the job done right.
Our experts recommend that you have your tires rotated every 6,000-8,000 miles.
Wheels & Wheel Alignment
One important step you can take towards improving your vehicle's handling and extend the life of your tires is to have your wheels aligned. Signs that your car needs an alignment are: the vehicle is pulling either to the left or right; loose handling or wandering; or the steering wheel is not centered when your car is moving forward. When you notice these problems, it is important that you bring your vehicle in for either a front end or a four-wheel alignment.
Duxler's technicians are experts at performing both front-end alignments and four-wheel alignments. Most vehicles today require four-wheel alignment because they have front-wheel drive and independent rear suspensions.
Steering & Suspension
If your vehicle isn't handling as easily as usual, or if the car starts behaving as if it has "a mind of its own," resisting on turns and when you're pulling out of turns, it is a warning sign that you need to have your steering and suspension checked.
Worn steering, suspension and drive line components can cause noise, vibration, premature tire wear and misalignment. Duxler's expert technicians will perform a complete inspection and replace worn parts to return your vehicle to optimal performance and safety, and help you to regain steering control and handling. A complete steering and suspension system inspection is a customary service performed at no charge with every safety inspection performed at Duxler.
Brakes

Javier G., at Duxler since 1995
Keeping your brakes in good working order can prevent costly repairs down the road, and, more importantly, help you avoid a collision. Duxler carries the highest quality name brand brake parts, always using original equipment and/or original equipment grade parts.
You can trust Duxler's highly trained technicians to perform expert brake system repairs that will ensure the safety of your vehicle and its passengers. We service hydraulic and electronic brake systems, anti-lock brake systems, and regenerative braking systems on hybrid vehicles.
Oil Changes
Regular oil changes are the best way to ensure longer engine life for your vehicle. If you frequently take short trips where the car doesn't always completely warm up, oil changes are even more important for your vehicle because acid and moisture buildup does not have a chance to burn off. Even missing a single oil change can cause an engine to develop sludge, which can cause engine damage in a car with as little as 15,000 miles on the odometer. Plus, changing the oil helps your engine to stay cool and operate with less effort and – yes – even use less fuel!
At Duxler, every deluxe oil change includes a lubrication, oil & filter (up to 5 qts. of standard weight oil). We also top off all fluids, check tire pressure, and perform a complete safety inspection. See Vehicle Inspection for details.
Tune-Ups
A car is a machine, and as such, it requires a certain amount of preventative maintenance in order to perform at its best. A tune up is a regularly scheduled opportunity to do all of the preventative maintenance that needs to be done, which can ultimately extend the life of your vehicle.
Tune-up intervals can vary from vehicle to vehicle, but your Duxler Service Advisor will be happy to explain when your vehicle's next tune-up is due. It's in your car's best interest to check periodically to make sure that your vehicle is working at maximum efficiency, especially if you do a lot of stop-and-go driving or pull heavy loads. The more efficient your vehicle is, the less money you'll spend at the gas station.
When you have a tune-up at Duxler, we use only brand-name parts. Our expert technicians will replace all needed parts so that your engine will perform at its best. Our mechanics will also use this opportunity to check the vehicle's systems, such as brakes and suspension; all fluid and oil levels; and the operation of any other systems that are not used or checked regularly.
Vehicle Inspection

Jonathan B., since 2008
Our knowledgeable technicians provide a complimentary and complete safety inspection whenever you bring your vehicle to Duxler. We will check the following: Tire pressure, tire wear and look for safety concerns; proper operation of brakes and check for wear; suspension; steering components; all fluids and levels; wiper function; safety warning lamps; interior and exterior lights; exhaust system; and check to see if it is time for a tune-up.
Our inspections include a thorough look into all of the above mentioned topics (with the exception of computer diagnostics).
Note: We offer a used car inspection for the "new" used car you are planning to purchase. Please ask one of our Service Advisors for details.
