Road Hazard Tire Warranty

Road hazards are unavoidable. Every day we are reminded that driving conditions on the roads are not ideal. We navigate potholes, garbage and debris. We must also contend with the poorly maintained streets and highways. While your tires can withstand wear and tear, the road hazards we face each day can leave your tires in need of repair or replacement.

While Duxler honors the tire manufacturer's warranties for the tires we sell, these warranties are limited to defects or failures caused by a material or quality issue created by the manufacturer. Damage caused by road hazards is not covered.

Duxler's plan covers tire damage that occurs when a tire fails as a result of a puncture, bruise, or impact break incurred during the course of normal driving on a maintained road. Most often, this type of damage comes from potholes, curbs, rocks, nails, screws and other forms of road debris.

The Road Hazard Tire Warranty Plan (RHTWP) is an optional protection plan available when purchasing tires from Duxler Complete Auto Care. This protection plan is only effective when the original receipt for the purchase of the RHTWP and the tires covered by the RHTWP is presented at any of the participating Duxler Complete Auto Care Centers.

This plan repairs, or if unrepairable, replaces tires damaged by road hazards. The most common hazards include potholes, glass and construction debris. When repair or replacement takes place at a Duxler Complete Auto Care Center, coverage includes tires, mounting, valve stems, balancing, and sales tax.

Who and What is Covered

The original purchaser of the tires covered by the RHTWP, which is not transferable
Passenger and light truck tires which were sold by Duxler and covered under the terms of the RHTWP
The original vehicle identified on the original invoice
Tire damage caused by a puncture, bruise, or impact break incurred during the course of normal driving on a road maintained by a state or local authority.

If you do not purchase Duxler's Road Hazard Tire Warranty Plan when you buy your new tires from a participating Duxler Complete Auto Care Center, you may buy the plan from any Duxler within 7 days from the original purchase date of the tires, subject to an inspection of the tires to be covered.

This plan covers new tires sold by Duxler Complete Auto Care for 48 months or with remaining tread greater than 2-2/3". This plan can be used in the 48 continental United States, Canada, and Mexico, per the terms contained herein. Coverage is limited to $25.00 per tire repair and up to the full amount of the original purchase price for replacement tires.*
